Gina and Adam

Is this little lady beautiful or what? Inside and out!!! Gina's spirit is so gentle and humble, she is kind and full of the love of the LORD! It was a blessing to photography Gina and her hubby Adam. They both look like SUPERMODELS eh?! I met Adam's mom about 7 years ago and she has been a wonderful friend ever since. I am truly blessed to get to know Adam and Gina. I hope our friendship will continue on years down the road. Well, we got to take these shots at a cove in Laguna. A new beach spot that I LOVE! The beach faces southwest so it is GREAT lighting as the sun is setting. We had a great afternoon full of laughs! I did get soaked by a wave and backed up into a hole dug by a child....yep, I fell in backwards...legs straight up in the air....BUT...I did save the camera. We all laughed and laughed. LOL!

Jeannette and Al's Engagement Session

Jeannette and Al opted for a Venice Beach and Malibu Beach Engagement session. Jeannette was so brave, I told her we could change the date because the weather looked "ify"!!! She said, "Let's do it anyways!" Some of the following photos are the result. Their pics turned out so cool. I could only BLOG some, but there were literally about 100 really good shots.
When we got to Venice Beach it was windy and a bit cold, but we had fun. Al is such a sweetheart and so easy going. It was wonderful through the afternoon to see their personalities unfold. Once we got in the car and headed up the coast to Malibu....the wind really started kicking in. As a photographer, I thought, "Oh my Lord!!! What are we instore for? This is horrible. How am I going to shoot this couple in ALMOST hurricane type weather?" It was BLOWING HARD! AND it was soooo COLD! We headed up to El Matador and then decided to turn around and head back to Zuma. One of the benefits of the cold windy day was that there were NO people on the beach!!!! Jeannette was shivering, I couldn't believe we were doing this. We stepped out onto the beach with blankets wrapped around Jeannette. Our first stop, a lifegaurd stand. "ok you two, hop up, leave the blanket with me. Let's shoot!" Up they went and as cold as it was, they both were having so much fun and their love warmed things up. I and I think you too, will be able to see the true fun they were having. There are some shots with the blanket to try and warm Jeanette up...but she was a real trooper in her beautiful chiffon dress. What memories they will have of this afternoon and the weather behind the pictures! FUN!!!

UPDATES

HELLO!!!!
It has been a few months since I last updated. Forgive me for the time that has gone by. So much has been happening. Life is full and photography has been at its peak. In the next few days I will be listing some of my favorite images from the last 2 months.

There have been wedding portraits on the beach, maternity photos on the beach, large group events at CCGS (what a honor to be asked to capture that evening!), an 80th Birthday "Tea Party" for Terry Gonzales, Nunez family photos, a wonderful engagement session at Venice Beach and Zuma Beach for Jeanette and Al, an endearing session with Amanda and her sweet baby and Nick, "Mommy and Me" Playdates, Arboreteum and Aquarium of the Pacific sessions....the list goes on and on......Soon to be capturing newborn Emma Elizabeth and her proud parents Brittany and Eddie! There is a wonderful company at www.mylifeturn.com that is starting a program for prepering the body before pregnancy, during and aftercare. It is a weight management company who is branching into maternity. The founder of My Life Turn is Cheryl Dison. She may be choosing one of my maternity images to be on the front of her brochure going out to 15,000 doctors in the Orange County area. Stay posted as I will list the image that is chosen. Be posting later.
P.S. If you h ave any weight to lose you might want to visit her website and give her a call. She is so friendly and energetic. I know you will love her!!!!
